Full BOJ October Report Published

October 15, 2007

The Bank of Japan has published the full version of its October 2007 Monthly Report of Recent Economic and Financial Developments. It’s a tad long, but has 42 charts at the end that are very useful for anyone watching economic trends in Japan.

Back in July, the Bank of Japan said that the economy was expanding in all nine of the nation’s regions. Since then, three regions have downgraded their economic assessments, and this time the BOJ has this to say:

The economy as a whole expanded moderately (from the last meeting) as most regions remained on an expansion or recovery trend, although there were regional differences.

For the sake of the economy, we hope the situation can be minimalized as such.
